Admissions & Refund Policy

This policy outlines the admissions process, fee payment expectations, and refund terms for Golden Angels School (GAS), covering both our Adentan and Amanfro campuses. It is intended to give parents and guardians clear expectations before and during the enrollment process.

1. Admissions Process

Application submission: Prospective families may apply either by completing our [Online Application](https://gas.edu.gh/admissions/apply-online/) or by downloading and submitting our [Application Form](https://gas.edu.gh/wp-content/uploads/GAS-Application-Form-1.pdf) in person or by email.

Required documentation: Depending on the level of entry, applicants may be asked to provide a birth certificate, immunization records, previous school reports or transfer documents, and passport-sized photographs.

Assessment and interview: For certain grade levels, particularly entry into Junior High School or mid-year transfers, GAS may conduct an informal assessment or interview with the student and/or parents to determine appropriate class placement.

Admission decision: Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. Golden Angels School reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion, based on space availability, assessment outcomes, and alignment with the school’s Christian educational philosophy.

Campus assignment: Our Adentan campus admits students from Crèche through Kindergarten. Our Amanfro campus admits students from Pre-School through Junior High School. Families are encouraged to apply to the campus appropriate to their child’s age and long-term educational plans.

2. Fees and Payment

Fee schedule: School fees, including tuition and any applicable levies, are communicated directly to parents upon admission and are subject to periodic review. Current fee schedules are available on request from the school administration.

Payment terms: Fees are due at the start of each term unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing with school administration. Continued enrollment is contingent on fees being paid in accordance with the agreed schedule.

Outstanding balances: Golden Angels School reserves the right to withhold report cards, examination results, or transfer documents where fee balances remain outstanding, in line with standard school administrative practice.

3. Refund Policy

Application fees: Any non-refundable application or processing fee paid at the time of submitting an application is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the application.

Withdrawal before term start: If a parent withdraws a confirmed admission before the start of a term, any deposit paid to secure a place may be forfeited in part or in full, depending on the notice period provided and administrative costs already incurred by the school.

Withdrawal during a term: Fees paid for a term in progress are generally non-refundable once the term has begun, as they cover costs already committed by the school for staffing, materials, and facilities for that term. Requests for exceptions due to extraordinary circumstances (such as relocation or documented medical need) will be reviewed by school administration on a case-by-case basis.

Unused services: Refunds are not typically issued for services a student does not use by personal choice (for example, optional extracurricular activities or transport services already paid for), except where the service was not provided by the school as agreed.

Refund requests: All refund requests must be submitted in writing to school administration, along with any relevant supporting documentation. Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable administrative timeframe.

4. Rules and Regulations

Enrollment at Golden Angels School requires acceptance of our broader [School Rules and Regulations](https://gas.edu.gh/rules-and-regulations/), which govern student conduct, discipline, attendance, and other administrative matters not covered in this policy.

5. Changes to This Policy

Golden Angels School reserves the right to update this Admissions & Refund Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page, and significant changes affecting currently enrolled families will be communicated directly.
